Distributing OCR Xpress for Linux

Regardless of your deployment model, the first step in deploying your application is to package the required OCR Xpress for Linux runtime components.

The contents of the “/Accusoft/OCRXpress<MajorVersion>-64/bin” directory of your OCR Xpress for Linux installation are the OCR Xpress for Linux runtime components. The following are required for deployment:

libocrxpress.so – Symbolic link to the major version symbolic link
libocrxpress.so.<MajorVersion> – Symbolic link to the OCR Xpress component
libocrxpress.so.<MajorVersion>.<MinorVersion> – OCR Xpress component
tessdata – Language data loaded by the OCR engine at runtime
